Aldershot & District		Two-tone green and cream livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
Alder Valley coach		Cream coach livery with a red stripe carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC white coach livery.
Alder Valley bus		Deep red and cream bus livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
Associated Motorways		Allover white livery with various coloured stripes depending on the operator.
Brighton, Hove & District		Red and cream livery carried prior to takeover by Southdown in 1969, after which Southdown green and cream replaced it.
Bristol Greyhound		Red and cream livery carried by coaches operated by Bristol Omnibus in the 1960s. FLEET SUMMARY
Bristol Omnibus One-Man-Operated		Relatively short-lived green and cream livery carried by Bristol Omnibus vehicles that were suitable for One-Man Operation (one Lodekka was also experimentally repainted although this remained crew-operated). This livery superseded Tilling green and preceeded NBC green. FLEET SUMMARY
Cheltenham District		Burgundy and cream livery carried by CDT vehicles. FLEET SUMMARY
Cheltenham District One-Man-Operated		Relatively short-lived burgundy and cream livery carried by CDT vehicles that were suitable for One-Man Operation. This livery superseded CDT livery and preceeded NBC red. FLEET SUMMARY
City of Oxford		Red and duck-egg green livery used prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
Crosville coach		Cream and black coach livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC white coach livery.
Durham District Services		Green and cream livery carried prior to the fleet being absorbed into United Auto and receiving Tilling red livery.
East Midland		Red and cream livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC green livery.
Eastern National		Green and cream coach livery.
Mansfield District		Green and cream livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC green.
Midland General		Black & cream single decker livery (shared with Mansfield District) and blue and cream double decker livery.
Potteries		Red and white livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
Provincial		Green and cream livery carried by Gosport & Fareham (Provincial) vehicles prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC green.
Red & White coach		Cream coach livery with a red stripe carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC white coach livery.
Ribble		Red and cream livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
Royal Blue		Blue and cream coaching livery carried by Western National and Southern National vehicles.
South Wales		Red and white livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
Southdown		Green and cream livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC green.
Standerwick		Cream and red livery carried prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC white.
Tilling Green		Tilling green livery as carried by many companies owned by Tilling. Double deckers usually had two cream bands, single deckers just the one. Originally the cream was lined out in black, but this was deleted as a cost-saving measure later on. Replaced by either NBC green or (in the case of Hants & Dorset) NBC red livery in the early to mid 1970s.
Tilling Green DP		Tilling green and cream livery used for dual-purpose vehicles.
Tilling Red		Tilling red livery (per Tilling green above but swap green and red).
Tilling Red DP		Tilling red and cream livery used for dual-purpose vehicles.
United Auto		Liveries carried by the vehicles of United Automobile Services prior to the adoption of NBC red.
West Riding		Green and cream livery carried by vehicles prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.
West Yorkshire		Red and cream coach livery carried by vehicles prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC white coach livery.
Yorkshire Woollen		Red and cream livery carried by vehicles prior to the formation of NBC when it was replaced by NBC red.

National Bus Company Blue		NBC blue livery, usually (but not always) finished with a white stripe at waist level
National Bus Company Red		NBC red livery, usually (but not always) finished with a white stripe at waist level
National Bus Company Green		NBC green livery, usually (but not always) finished with a white stripe at waist level
