Every now and again a VR or Lodekka is found which obviously (or sometimes less obviously) carries an incorrect id, or perhaps no id at all, which means that it is not possible to publish definitive information about the vehicle. This page is intended to provide a place to publish photos of vehicles that have not yet been identified in the hope that someone might one day be able to shed light on the real identity of the bus. Click on the thumbnails for full-size views of the photos. If you do have any further information on any of the vehicles shown on this page, or if you just fancy a chat do please drop me a line at rob@robsly.com
Mystery #1 : VR in Florida This VR carries VIN VRT/SL3/2007 which would make it JWT756V, but features on the bodywork (most notably the grille just behind the driver's cab) mean that it cannot be that one. It is thought to have been exported through British Double Deckers of Denver, Colorado, being first noted in 2002 with Susquehanna Radio, Kansas City, Missouri. By February 2007 it was in use as a Party Bus in Pensacola, Florida in the condition shown above. Photo : eBay |
